I have a new laptop and want to transfer my web page files to it from Kompozer - how do I do it.

Which current files are you talking about? The ones currently already published (on the web server) or ones on your old computer? If the former, use an FTP program to download the site and its folders. If the latter, either network the two computers or burn a CD with the files.

I have a sinking feeling that your question requires even more basic information than what I've offered...

There are several options available. If the computers are networked you could put a copy of your files into the shared folder on the one computer and find them in the shared folder on the new laptop. You can also copy your files to a cd, dvd, or flash drive. You could even transfer them by memory card if you have a card reader.

All you need to do is transfer the folder with your web site files. You can download and install another copy of KompoZer on the new laptop.
