On my old computer I used Frontpage and never had any of the problems that I will talk about now.
I don't have Frontpage any more and I know most people don't think much of it anyway. This is what is going on. I recreated my website with Kompozer and it seems to be decent enough and similar to Frontpage. When I FTP the site with Kompozer, my Google Checkout cart and buttons are not there. It's the only javascript I have.
New photos that I add to Kompozer that were never on the site before FTP with no problems like they did with Frontpage. I try and fix the google checkout probem by using Filezilla to FTP. With Filezilla, all the google checkout buttons and cart work but it deletes any new photos that had been FTP'd with Kompozer. It's the same file being used with both FTP clients. I never had to FTP a photo to a directory in advance when I used Frontpage. It's been hell but I have had to do a few new photos this way. If Frontpage is that much more idiot proof than anything else, I don't know. Could some setting be set wrong when I FTP with Kompozer that causes the google cart to not be there?
That is the only problem I really have is the checkout cart is missing when I FTP with Kompozer. So with Kompozer I can publish the new photos easily but it leaves out the google cart. Filezilla fixes the cart and deletes the new photos that Kompozer published. Is this crazy? Filezilla connects every time and is fast at the FTP. Tonight I'm constantly getting the: 530 sorry the maximum number of clients (15) for this user are already connected. Even after shutting down the computer it still happens.
I'm very comfortable with Kompozer in a short time and I like it if it works or I can figure out what I am doing wrong. I have read many people having problems with adsense script and I guess that is similar to the google cart script. The site is
http://www.ultrabuys.com in case you see any source problems but it's working fine now, just cant's hardly publish
any new photos. Thanks
