Need help getting started Tables and style sheet

Postby GarybTCC on Sun Nov 04, 2007 1:32 pm

I have read enough to know that tables are most of the time not the way to go. However that is the only way I have been able to accomplish what I have...

Can someone give me some good instruction on the CSS editor and the CaScadeS.

the site I am working on is
http://www.changenetwork.110mb.com

Thanks

Dare I suggest:

I've taken a very quick look at the site. I see there's masses of drag/select/clicktoolbar been going on! You'll need to completely quit that approach if you want to make a success of CSS.

Most of your text is either headings, general paragraphs or captions, so I figure You'll be able to use h1, h2 and p, and then create a class or two for "caption" and perhaps "menu" Running text in two columns is generally frowned upon as it is awkward to scroll up/down/sideways if your window is not big enough to see it. Works on paper, not on a video monitor.

Think about these things whilst working through my tutorial.
