Font "grayed out" in Nvu

Postby timely on Sat Nov 15, 2008 5:32 pm

I am using Nvu and periodically when I try to add text (cutting and pasting from Notepad), I cannot change the font, as it is "grayed out" on the Format menu. Suggestions?

A very basic question, are you selecting the text that you wish to change?

If you are using NVu it is highly recommended that you upgrade to KompoZer. KompoZer is an unofficial bug fix update to NVu. Development was halted on NVu quite some time ago and has continued under the KompoZer line. http://www.kompozer.net/

Yes, I'm highlighting the text.

If I switch to Kompozer, will I be able to open my Nvu files?

You will hardly notice the difference between the two programs, because, as Wink0r said, it's mostly a bug-fix of NVU.
